The Record Board: June 2026

August 13, 2026

Ten Texas venues just had the best month in their history. Congratulations.

Every month, we check all ~69,000 mixed-beverage permit holders in Texas for all-time highs. To make this list, a venue needs at least a year of filings, no missing or zero months in the last twelve, at least $15,000 in June sales — and a June that beats every single month it has ever reported, going back as far as 2007. Then we rank by one number: how many times bigger June was than the venue's average month, across its whole life.

265 venues set all-time records in June. These ten smashed theirs the hardest. (Why so many records this month? See our June report.)

  1. Westside Tennis Club — Houston · 10.2x their average month. $280,544 in June, against a lifetime average of $27,514 — and they've been reporting since January 2007, as long as records exist. Nineteen years in, best month ever.
  1. Taquero Calle Y Sabor — Dallas · 7.5x. $17,624 against a $2,343 average, and June nearly doubled their previous best.
  1. Pitch 25 — Houston · 7.2x. $1,505,158. The EaDo soccer bar didn't just break its record — it more than doubled a previous best that had stood since October 2019, and did seven times its average month. We assume the World Cup had nothing to do with it.
  1. Argentina 163 — Euless · 5.9x. $19,350 for the milanesa house named after Argentina — best month in its history, during a World Cup. Sometimes the data writes its own poetry.
  1. Camp Fimfo — New Braunfels · 5.8x. $265,230 at the Hill Country resort on the Guadalupe. June in New Braunfels is undefeated.
  1. Hacienda del Rio — New Braunfels · 5.6x. $15,729 on the banks of the Guadalupe near Gruene Hall. River season, best month ever.
  1. Castaway's Seafood and Grill — Port Aransas · 5.5x. $126,970 on the coast — 5.5 times their average month across nineteen years of filings.
  1. The Bridges Golf Club — Gunter · 5.0x. $64,684, five times their average month. Whatever happened on that golf course in June, it was thirsty work.
  1. SPORTSBOOK — Dallas · 4.8x. A sports bar named SPORTSBOOK having its best month ever during a World Cup: $105,720 in Bishop Arts. Nominative determinism, confirmed by the Comptroller.
  1. Sandlewood Manor — Tomball · 4.6x. $165,392 at the wedding venue, in June. June weddings: still undefeated.

How this list works: figures are gross mixed-beverage receipts as filed with the Texas Comptroller (as of August 13, 2026), combined across TABC license renumberings. "All-time" means since records begin in January 2007. Minimum $15,000 in June sales and twelve consecutive months of filings to qualify. We congratulate; we don't speculate. If your venue made the list and we should know your story — contact@asktexasbarsales.com. Next Record Board: when July's data lands, around September 10.
